How to choose silver bangles and kada
What bangle size am I?
Indian bangle sizes are written as inches and sixteenths of an inch across the inside: 2.4 is 2 and 4/16 inches (about 57 mm), 2.6 is about 60 mm and 2.8 is about 64 mm. Measure the inside of a bangle that already slides over your hand comfortably and pick the closest size. Our plain bangles and couple bangles come in 2.4, 2.6 and 2.8.
A kada that opens needs no size. Our oxidised tribal kada is an open kada that adjusts to the wrist.
Bangle, kada or bracelet?
A bangle is a rigid ring that slides over the hand. A kada is the heavier, bolder version, often worn singly. A bracelet is flexible and closes with a clasp, and it is sized in inches, so it lives on its own page.
