A bracelet is flexible: a chain, link or open cuff that closes with a clasp or flexes onto the wrist, and it is sized in inches. A bangle or kada is rigid and has to pass over your hand, so it is sized by inner diameter (2.4, 2.6, 2.8). They are different purchases with different sizing, which is why bangles and kada have their own page.

How to measure your wrist
Wrap a strip of paper snugly around your wrist bone, mark where it overlaps and measure the strip in inches. Add about three-quarters of an inch for a comfortable chain bracelet, or a little less if you like it close. Most women measure between 6 and 7 inches, so a 7 inch chain with an extender fits nearly everyone.
Cuffs and sliders need no measuring. Open the cuff gently at the gap, never by twisting the ends, and it will hold its shape for years.
Is it real silver? Chandi, 925 and German silver
Chandi simply means silver in Hindi, so the word alone tells you nothing about purity. A lot of jewellery sold as chandi or tribal silver is German silver, a copper, nickel and zinc alloy with no silver in it at all.
925 sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver with a little copper added for strength. Caring for a silver bracelet
Sterling silver darkens when it meets sweat, humidity, perfume and lotion. Our rhodium and anti-tarnish finishes resist that far longer than raw silver. Put the bracelet on after perfume and cream, wipe it with the cloth in the box and store it dry in its pouch.
