A dome ring is a wide, smoothly curved band with no stones — this one is 8 mm across the crown, cast in solid 925 sterling silver and finished with 18k gold micron plating. At roughly 7.5 g it has real weight on the finger, unlike the hollow plated-brass fashion rings this shape is usually sold in.
