A chandbali is a crescent-shaped Indian earring — chand means moon, bali means hoop — worn since the Mughal courts and still the default festive earring across north India. anokhi's version is solid 925 sterling silver, rhodium-finished, with lab-created CZ pavé-set along the crescent and a small stud top. Real hallmarked sterling silver at a fraction of what the same silhouette costs in gold.

How to wear

The traditional festive pairing is a chandbali with an open neckline and hair tied back, no necklace. Seat the push-back firmly so the crescent hangs level, and store flat so it does not flex out of shape.
