About this piece

A couple band set built the way proposal rings are actually worn — one slim 925 sterling silver band holding a four-prong CZ solitaire, and one wider flat comfort-fit band to match it, rather than two identical rings. The stone is lab-created cubic zirconia and we call it cubic zirconia; there is no diamond here and no diamond price. Both bands are solid sterling silver, rhodium finished, BIS purity-marked, and engravable on the inside with a date or initials.

How to wear

If the wearer's knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of the finger, order the solitaire band a half-size loose — a prong setting cannot be resized as freely later as a plain band can. Put both rings on last, after lotion and perfume. Clean behind the prongs every few weeks with warm soapy water and a soft brush; the plain band only needs a dry-cloth wipe. Take the solitaire off for gym work and kitchen prep so the prongs do not catch.

Silver care

Wipe with the cloth in your box after wear, and store the piece dry in its pouch — trapped moisture is what darkens silver fastest. Put jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before a bath, the pool or the gym. No. It is lab-created cubic zirconia, 4 mm round, and we price and describe it as CZ throughout. Anyone selling you a real diamond at this price is selling you something other than what they claim.

Can we use this set for an engagement or roka?
