About this piece
A box-chain anklet is a plain payal made from square links that sit flush end to end, so it reads as one clean silver line with nothing hanging off it. This one is certified 925 sterling silver in a fine 1.2 mm box link, adjustable 9 to 11 inches. It is left high-polished rather than rhodium plated — bare sterling, which warms to a soft patina if you let it and polishes back in two minutes if you do not.
